“Our personal consumer choices have ecological, social, and spiritual consequences.
It is time to re-examine some of our deeply held notions that underlie our lifestyles.”

About Small.Simple.Life
Small Simple Life is a sharing of thoughts and a celebration of choice, simplicity and the power of information, compassion and inner contentment to uncover a happy and simple life that reflects a true desire to live more ethically and sustainably.
With a focus on the spiritual, social, ethical and ecological consequences of our modern lifestyle I am considering the advantages of a life dedicated to finding joy in the small, simple aspects of daily life and hoping to learn and share more about the impact of our choices and the alternatives.
It is a rediscovering of our connection with the earth, with people and our own lives and living a life that acknowledges the impact of our choices and our lifestyle. By sharing ideas and thoughts I hope to inspire and encourage myself and others towards real positive change.
Small Simple Life is about finding our own way and making informed choices that reflect a true desire to have a positive, compassionate and sustaining impact on our own lives, the lives of others and the future of the planet.
A little about me : )
Hi there!! My name is Trudy and I am a 30 something vegetarian Australian who escaped to New Zealand with my husband and two cats on the search for a smaller, simpler, happier and more fulfilled life. We left the city, our jobs, family and friends to take time out, reflect and rebalance our lives.
This little blog is a part of that journey. As we examine our life and take steps to simplify and live a more ethical and sustainable existence, I hope writing and sharing our experiences and thoughts along the way may be inspiring and helpful not only to ourselves but to others.
Thank you for taking a peek and I hope you enjoy finding a little simplicity, sustainability and joy in your own life.
